Polymer Extruded Products, Inc. was established in 1989 by the senior management team of the plastic film division of American Buildings Company. Under the leadership of Dr. Steven L.Kozak, Chairman and CEO, PEP was created to fulfill the VISION of its founders: to be a company dedicated to the manufacture of plastic film and sheet products employing unique and proprietary polymer systems and manufacturing processes.

The company was acquired in 2003 by Spartech Corporation and now operates as Spartech PEP. Its expertise is focused upon two specific processes: Cast Film & Blown Film.
